So the other day I was thinking, "I like my site, but I want to add more to it". By that I meant I wanted to bring my blog back and realign some things. So, after modifying some styles, adding the blog, adding a "services" section to the site, we now have Cotter Interactive Version 3.0.
Okay, so here's exactly what's new. We added a "services" section to most of the pages. Also, we added some lighter colors to contrast the dark. The blog is back! We also include the pinkish color to show our gratitude to ExpressionEngine 2.1. Without ExpressionEngine, Cotter Interactive wouldn't be what it is! So, we incorporated some features from Cotter Interactive 1.0 and 2.0 to form 3.0!
So the portfolio page is somewhat the same as in the previous edition of Cotter Interactive, where you have image previews of the projects, but we created a separate project page instead of a lightbox. Also, we brought back some of the colors from Cotter Interactive 1.0. That being the dark blue (#003366) and the teal green (#006666). Overall I think we have a major improvement. And now that this is complete, I sure hope I won't have to make any more changes for a while :).
My teacher Mr. Zac Gordon taught me this principle: "Realign, not redesign". So with Cotter Interactive v. 3.0, that's what we did!
